Janan Home
An atelier without walls.
Janan paints rooms, furniture, marquetry panels, and yacht interiors with the same hand that paints a Birkin. The scale changes. The intention does not.
01 — Trompe l'œil
Painting that pretends.
Trompe l'oeil — French for "deceive the eye" — is the art of painting something so convincingly that for a moment, your brain insists it is real. Janan paints gardens onto plaster, marble onto wood, windows onto windowless rooms. It is the oldest dialogue between painting and architecture, and it is one of her favorite ways to work.
02 — Painted Furniture & J Tables
Heirlooms in disguise.
Console tables painted into mosaics. Dressers turned into Chinoiserie. Headboards transformed into night skies. The J Tables — a limited-edition collection of hand-painted sculptural side tables in vegan pebbled leather with hand-stitched edges — sit alongside larger painted furniture commissions.
— The J Tables are sold out. Not accepting new orders. In collaboration with @atelier825_.
